Capital grants from the program are designed to preserve, protect, and enhance historic properties; encourage others to preserve, protect, and enhance historic properties; and promote interest in, and the study of, historic properties. The grant program is administered by the Prince George's County Planning Department of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) on behalf of the Prince George’s County Planning Board.
