Queen Anne Fishing Area

Queen Anne Fishing Area is located in what was once Queen Anne, a colonial town dating back to 1706. This was a major river crossing from Southern Maryland to Annapolis.

The fishing area is open daily. The old bridge is closed to fishing, and anglers are permitted to fish along the banks. The river is tidal, so a Chesapeake Bay and Coastal Sport license is required for anglers age 16 and older.

For additional information, please contact staff at the number above.

From Route 214 in Bowie, turn south onto Queen Anne Bridge Road. Go 0.4 miles to stop sign. Proceed another 0.3 miles to park entrance.
